Gros Piton at Au Poye Park, the setting for the "In the Shadow of the Gods" experience in Saint Lucia
In the Shadow of the Gods is NOT a tour.
It is a Threshold.
There are moments in life when something stirs within you - a quiet knowing that you're being called towards something deeper than the surface pleasures of another beautiful destination.
You've stood before magnificent views. You've tasted exquisite meals. You've been pampered in luxury that should have left you transformed. And yet.
Something essential remains untouched...
What if the journey you're truly seeking isn't to another place, but to another way of seeing?
What if the island you're meant to discover isn't just a jewel in the Caribbean, but a portal to the stories that shaped this world - and to the truth of who you're becoming?
This is an invitation. It could be your invitation.
A rare convergence of place, story, and sacred time that exists only once each week, only for those ready to step beyond the beautiful and into the meaningful.
If this is you, your million-dollar moment awaits.
Schedule your discovery call.
A 20–30 minute conversation to determine alignment.
No obligation.

Kirk is a National Geographic Certified Educator, Transformational Travel Designer, and Saint Lucian Master Photographer. His life's work bridges art, community, and impact.
Kirk's commitment is to preserve and share the cultural richness of St Lucia in a way that elevates the island beyond just another destination of sun, sea, and sand.
Kirk is the creator and curator of In The Shadow of The Gods. The storyteller. The keeper of sacred memories.
But he is not the one who will make your breakthrough happen.
That part is yours. Kirk opens the door. You walk through it.
For more than a decade Kirk has been designing journeys that exist nowhere else.
Experiences where:
History has been rigorously researched with a Cornell professor of French Revolutionary history.
Stories come directly from descendants of the Neg Mawon - Saint Lucia's freedom fighters from its colonial past.
In the Shadow of the Gods is the culmination of this work.
An island experience that is a One of One.
Saint Lucia has been photographed, packaged, and presented through a lens that was never ours to hold. The narratives have been told by those who came to conquer, not to understand. By those who took, not those who belong.
But there is another story.
A story of the Kalinago people who called this island Iyanola long before the Europeans arrived. They worshipped the twin volcanic peaks Yokahu (Gros Piton) and Atabeyra (Petite Piton) as their deities of fire, fertility, thunder, and tides.

Beyond the postcard view, the Pitons hold centuries of stories, traditions, and cultural meaning that continue to shape life in Saint Lucia today.
A story of Africans who arrived centuries before the Europeans and integrated with reverence rather than violence. A story of the Neg Mawon - those freedom fighters who rejected slavery and created their stronghold in Fond Gens Libre (the Valley of the Free People) at the base of Gros Piton.
These are not footnotes to someone else's history.
These are the foundations of what St Lucia truly is. And on this one day, standing literally in the shadow of the gods, you will hear these stories not as a spectator, but as a witness. As someone ready to receive what they have to offer you now, in this moment of your life.

Guests In the Shadow of the Gods early morning briefing as the day begins with stories that reveal the deeper history and spirit of Saint Lucia.
Your Wednesday unfolds across the island through a series of stories most visitors never hear.
We begin overlooking Castries, where the harbour once echoed with war when a German U-boat attacked a British freighter during World War II.
We pause at Marigot Bay, where French and British fleets fought repeatedly for control of Saint Lucia.
We stop at a small artisan chocolate factory, where Saint Lucia’s cacao tradition continues today.
And eventually we arrive in Soufriere, where the Pitons rise above a town shaped by centuries of history.
By the time you reach the mountain, the landscape has changed.
Or perhaps more accurately ...
your perspective has.

STANDING IN THE SHADOW OF THE GODS
At Au Poye Park, one-quarter of the way up Gros Piton - standing in the literal shadow of Yokahu - your external journey gives way to an internal one.
THIS IS YOUR MILLION DOLLAR MOMENT
Here, you will be invited into sacred time.
Fifteen minutes of personal stillness and silence...
Fifteen minutes to connect to the land where the Kalinago once stood in reverence of Yokahu...
Fifteen minutes where the Neg Mawon freedom fighters refused captivity and chose autonomy instead.
Your Invitation To Connect To Source
You will be invited to connect to Source - however you understand that word - and to receive whatever inspiration, insight, or manifestation is yours to claim in this moment.
Will it be financial abundance? ... Perhaps.
Will it be clarity on your next chapter? ... Who knows.
Or perhaps a healing you didn't know you needed? ... Profound.
The answer to a question you've been carrying for years?
The courage to choose healing over resentment in your own life?
The permission to release a burden you've been carrying for far too long?
Neither Should You
So think material things if that's what's in your spirit. Or think beyond, as the breakthrough awaiting you may be worth far more than just material things in life.
Your presence here, your openness, your readiness may open a door you've been standing in front of for years.
This land has held transformation before. It knows how.
Come ready to receive at the level of the infinite, not just the finite.
And while we can't promise what will happen, what we promise is this: You will stand where documented transformation has occurred. Where stories nearly lost are now being preserved.

Guests gather at Au Poye Park beneath Gros Piton, moments before entering the stillness of the experience’s “Million Dollar Moment.”
Where Kirk's National Geographic Certification capstone project catalysed a movement that continues today.
You will know it when you feel it.
And whatever unlocks for you in this moment - clarity, healing, abundance, release, purpose - will be yours to carry forward.
So question is: What reframe is waiting for you?

Approaching the Pitons by sea reveals a perspective of St Lucia few visitors ever experience.
After a meal of authentic local cuisine served with cultural elegance we leave to board a private catamaran.
We sail out between the Pitons to experience what the Kalinago saw every time they returned to Iyanola in their canoes.
Yokahu and Atabeyra standing guard like two majestic sentinels guiding them home from the sea.
Here, those who wish to share are invited to reflect on the day, on what was received, on what shifted for you.
Then the energy transforms as we swing into celebratory mode heading north to Port Castries.
With music pumping, drinks and hors d'oeurves flowing it's full on party mode!
This experience is not for everyone. It is not designed to be.
It is for you if:
Price is not your concern, but meaning is everything
You are exhausted by the interchangeable nature of luxury travel and hunger for something that can only happen here, only now, only once
You sense that you are on the edge of a breakthrough - spiritual, creative, relational, financial ... and you need the space and the sacred to call it in
You understand that transformation doesn't happen on a sunset cruise you could take anywhere, but in places where history, land, and spirit converge
You are ready, not just interested
If what you've read here tugs at something inside you - if it feels like recognition rather than curiosity - then this is yours to claim.
If this sounds like you, your Wednesday may be waiting.

This Is Not For Everyone
This experience is intentionally limited, not just in size, but in who it’s designed for.
If you’re looking for entertainment, there are many options on the island.
If you’re looking for something that stays with you long after you leave - something you can’t quite explain, but won’t forget…
then this conversation is your next step.
Before anyone books, we talk.
A 20–30 minute discovery call gives us both the opportunity to determine alignment.
This experience works best when the group shares a certain curiosity and openness.
If I feel this is not the right fit for you, I will say so.
The experience matters more than the booking.
There is never any obligation.
But if something about this journey resonates with you…
your Wednesday may be waiting.
Travel, at its best, creates relationships that continue long after the journey ends.
